The Maharashtra Government has implemented the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Service, which enables beneficiaries to seek assistance from multiple departments such as ‘Social Justice and Special Assistance’, ‘Tribal Development’, ‘Directorate of Higher Education’, ‘Directorate of Technical Education’, ‘School Education and Sports’, ‘VJNT, OBC and SBC Welfare’, ‘Directorate of Medical Education and Research’, and others. The eligible beneficiaries receive this assistance directly into their bank accounts linked with Aadhaar.
